Within the Chontas Birdwatching Spot area we have a path called "Sendero Chontas", it has a distance of approximately 2.5 kilometers, covering a height from 2000 masl to 2300 masl, during the tour you can observe and listen to different types of species of birds such as: Black-billed Mountain-Toucan, Southern Emerald-Toucanet, White-bellied Antpitta, Masked Trogon, Golden-headed Quetzal, Dusky Piha, Wattled Guan, Andean Guan, Sickle-winged Guan, and different species of tanagers.
